For this assignment, you will research a public health problem and examine subsequent policy solutions designed to ameliorate the problem. You will identify a public health problem in your community and conduct your own research into the actions taken by either the local, state, or federal government to resolve the problem.

In this LASA, you will write a policy memo to a government official on a public health topic of your choice. - Identify a public health problem that can be solved using a policy approach.
