• Discuss two jail innovations. Why are they successful? Which one would you favor? Why? Please explain and provide support for your rationale.

3. Community Corrections:

• What is community-based corrections? What are the benefits to the offender and the community?

• Discuss intermediate sanctions, restorative justice, and victim-offender reconciliation programs. In your opinion, which one is the most effective? Why?
