This week you have learned about state standards and explored how these standards help guide curriculum in early learning environments. Each state has its own set of early childhood standards. Search for your condition and locate your early childhood state standards.

In at least 300, please respond to the following questions:

• Identify your state and describe three kindergarten standards in Indiana.
• As an administrator of an early learning environment, how will you assure families that their children will be ready to meet expectations and be kindergarten ready?
• As an administrator, how will you ensure early childhood professionals are equipped to prepare young children to meet standards?
