Laboratory Reports
It's a Cisco Packet Tracer-based activity. Please open the downloaded file in packet tracer to see two windows-one window with the network diagram and the other with the instructions to complete the activity. As you successfully finish all the tasks, completion will show 100%. Please do not forget to save the file before closing it; otherwise, the completion percentage will revert to the Initial percentage value, and you will not get any marks.
Only submit the saved completed packet tracer file.
Software Design:
• Introduce software design principles and practices for creating effective and efficient software solutions.
• Discuss the importance of modularization, abstraction, and encapsulation in software design. Explore different design paradigms, including object-oriented design, functional design, and component-based design. No AI shortcuts — Get authentic assignment help from qualified, real tutors.
• Apply design patterns and architectural styles to solve common design problems and improve software maintainability and scalability.
Software Architecture:
• Define software architecture and its role in defining the structure and behaviour of a software system.
• Discuss the key components of software architecture, including modules, layers, and interfaces.
• Explore architectural styles and patterns, such as client-server, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Analyze real-world software architectures and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.
Agile & Scrum:
• Introduce the Agile methodology and its principles, emphasizing iterative development, customer collaboration, and adaptability.
• Discuss the Scrum framework as a popular Agile methodology for managing software development projects.
• Explore the roles and responsibilities of Scrum team members, including the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development Team.
• Engage in Scrum ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, to understand their purpose and importance.
By the end of the tutorial, students will have gained a deep understanding of software analysis, modelling, design, architecture, Agile methodology, and Scrum framework, enabling them to apply these concepts and techniques effectively in real-world software development projects.
Tutorial Part B
In this tutorial, students will achieve comprehensive understanding and practical skills in the following key areas of software development:
Software Analysis and Modelling:
• Define software analysis and modelling and their importance in the software development process.
• Explore various techniques and methodologies for software analysis, such as use case modelling, activity diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
• Discuss the role of requirements analysis in software development and its impact on project success.
• Engage in practical exercises to analyze and model software requirements using industry-standard tools and techniques.
