6. Research the Internet for information on a recent crane accident. What possible violations of OSHA construction standards can you identify that might have contributed to the accident? Share your information in this journal assignment. (Include a link to the accident information).

7. Hazard communication (Hazcom) training is required in all workplaces where hazardous chemicals are used (not just construction). What has been your experience with Hazcom training? Did it meet the standard? Was it effective? If you have never participated in Hazcom training, discuss who you think should provide this training on a construction site.
