1. I conducted a SWOT analysis on becoming a daycare facility owner. My input below:

Strengths

Providing working parents with a center to bring their children when they are not in school/Provide reliable services
My hours of operation will provide my center with an advantage.
A business license allows me to conduct my business legally and without discrepancies
Reasonable prices
All payments will be excepted
Security system all around outside and inside

Weaknesses

The first year of a business is always the hardest and most vital
It will be hard for me to maintain reasonable prices for the customers if I cannot manage to make a profit
I will have to lose money before I can ever expect to make a profit.
New facility so my clientele may be limited
Limited funding
Start-up cost

Opportunities

Hopefully in time, I can stretch my business to other communities with similar needs
I can acquire new business acquaintances. Every customer that comes into the center presents a new opportunity
Paring with other companies

Threats

The other, older daycares have more experience and faithful clients.
The other daycares will start to offer the same hours in fear of competition
Someone getting hurt
Insurance going up because of threats
Workers quitting
Not enough clients to keep business open
