Description:
Individual Part (500 words)
You will be given a case study at the beginning of Week 12 class and will have 60 minutes to write an individual report recommending your organisation's actions using social media analytics and crisis management techniques to respond to a data breach.

Group Role-Playing Part (5 minutes)
Your organisation requires your group to appear before the Board of Directors and discuss your recommendations on using social media techniques to respond to the data breach and your crisis management plan.
Students will play the following roles: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), and Chief Ethical Officer.
Your group should offer specific recommendations for your organisation's actions in using social media techniques to respond to the data breach and manage the resulting crisis.

Individual Part (500 words)
You will be provided with a case study at the beginning of class. You will be asked in 60 minutes to:
Write an individual report to recommend your organisation's actions using social media analytics techniques to respond to a data breach and to manage the resulting crisis.
The case study will include specific details that your recommendations must address.

Report Structure

Introduction
Brief description of the most serious aspects of the data breach in the case study
The one most important recommendation that your organisation should act upon first in using social media techniques to address the data breach crisis

Recommendations
Justify why you feel the recommendation you made in the Introduction section is the most important action that the organisation should conduct first, before any others
Provide specific details of what steps the organisation should take to respond to the data breach and resulting crisis

Ethical Considerations
Outline possible ethical issues associated with the recommendations you are making

Group Role-Playing Part (5 minutes)
Your organisation requires your group to appear before the Board of Directors and discuss your recommendations on responding to the data breach and your crisis management plan.
