RE-WRITE THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS BELOW.
From the scenario, discuss two negative influences that poorly performing students at a local school might have on the copy center' s prospects for securing qualified labor. Suggest ways for how you would address the issue of ethnicity education attainment when analyzing the K-12 system and suggest the ways that you believe it influences income distribution within the labor force at large.
The following is most often over looked by such large schools:
Physical ailments: undiagnosed sleep disorders, anemia, infectious mononucleosis, thyroid conditions, impaired vision or hearing.
Emotional disorders: depression, anxiety, eating disorders.
Learning disabilities/developmental disabilities: dyslexia, central auditory-processing disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Substance abuse: a drastic decline in grades may be a tipoff that a child is experimenting with alcohol or illicit drugs.
Kids go to school supposibly to learn, it has been proven that separation of the sexes allows better grade. Uniforms also help with kids studies as they all dress the same and do not worry about what they wear and what others think of their clothing. Schools are run as a business, so why not run it as a business, the customers are the students and their parents, allow students like college courses to pick times they and their parents are available for class, this could be morning or evening. I have a class every Tuesday, why not let a k-12 do the same. Their class will after all be mon-fri just like regular school. but convenient for the student and parent. I kind of wish they would do away with the sports and concentrate more on academia though, kids can go to sports on their own time.
From the scenario, suggest strategies that the copy center can implement to increase the efficiency of the K-12 system. Determine if you would support a tax increase on the copy center to support the neighborhood school. Explain your rationale.
I am against taxing the business if it hires local employees. I feel a flat tax across the board on individuals and businesses would be the fairest tax. The copy center could sponsor a school and get involved in the education with students, why not set up a class that trains students in what the center does and they will see first hand what students are interested in that work and who is not. Offering after hour school programs for credit would also be a way for the business to help the community and get trained students. This could be done in the junior and senior years where kids are deciding what to do.
