In chapter 5 Vaughn outlines and applies the moral theory of ethical egoism. Now you will do the same. Answer the following prompt in essay style.

You are a person of modest means who has been asked to contribute $1,000 to help feed the poor and hungry in Africa. You will be asked to give every year. Giving less than that will accomplish nothing. If you contribute that much money 30 hungry children will survive for an entire year, but you will not be able to afford the dental work to alleviate the severe pain in your teeth.
