From the gut microbiota literature, choose an article that addresses a health problem or topic that is of interest to you.

The topic may include but is not limited to; disorders of gastrointestinal tract (GIT), complex multifactorial disorders, infectious diseases, benefits of gut microbiota etc. It is suggested that you choose an article in a topic area in which you already have some background knowledge.

The study described in this paper must employ one of the analytic observational study designs (prospective, retrospective historical retrospective). It shall not be an essay or editorial. The study must have been recently (201 0 to present) published in a commonly known peer reviewed journal, e.g. Nature, Science JAMA, Lancet, J. Clin. Microbiol. etc.
