Business Research

Assessment: Research Blueprint/ Proposal Overview

This unit provides you with the opportunity to integrate and apply the full range of MBA or MIS skills in the design and execution of a high-quality, research-informed business project. Emphasis is on critical thinking, evidence-based decision-making, and practical business relevance.

The Research Blueprint is your first step in the research journey. It requires you to identify a business problem, formulate a researchable question, explore preliminary literature, and design a feasible methodology. This assessment helps you practice critical thinking, problem framing, and evidence-based decision-making, forming the foundation for later assessments.

Your tutor will guide and facilitate weekly progress, supporting each stage of your research process. Learning is progressive, so early engagement is essential.

You are expected to develop your own unique topic that can hold your interest for the full 12 weeks. Do NOT request approval for your topic or expect your tutor to allocate you a topic. Refer to the detailed assignment instruction below for your Blueprint (Assessment 1), in which you are required to develop your topic to ensure that it has relevance as a business-related problem and has a specific Research Question that you intend to try and resolve. No AI shortcuts — Get genuine assignment help from experienced, real tutors.
