Later identified as the causative virus COVID-19. One month later, Ontario confirmed its first presumptive case. Our world changed.

Discuss COVID-19 within the context of a chronic disease AND the Chronic Disease Model (CCM). Speak to the implications from an economic, system, leadership, and health care professionals' perspectives. Examine relevant themes, such as covid as it relates to stigma, the patient experience, self-management approaches, and future recommendation or planning etc.

Hint - A lot continues to happen since COVID-19 was declared a pandemic-however, focus your response in the context of a chronic diseases and the CCM.
