Designing an Electronic circuit to control on/off switching, Direction and Speed of the DC motor via GSM Mobile phone.
Abstract:
The circuit controls DC motor remotely using GSM Module. The GSM module provides the interface between the user and Arduino system by means of SMS messages. Arduino controls drive system of DC motors enabling it to control DC motor for the operations such as on/off and speed control.

Introduction: The circuit enables the user to control the DC Motor by sending predefined SMS message to Arduino based control system by GSM mobile phone. These SMS commands are interpreted by Arduino and validated. When valid SMS command are sent, it takes the necessary action to control the device. For Example: If an SMS "MOTOR ON” is sent then motor will be ON. If an SMS "MOTOR OFF” is sent, then motor will be off. After completion of the command implementation the system sends an acknowledgement SMS back to the User. By making a call to the GSM modem User can get the information regarding the device status if he wishes to know.
