Question: One of the most common uncritically accepted myths in psychology is that we use only 10 percent of our brain.The movie Lucy, released within the last two years, is the premise of the movie. (Lucy TRAILER 1 (2014) - Luc Besson, Scarlett Johansson Movie HD) This claim will often be made in tones of absolute certainty: "Did you know we use only 10 percent of our brain?" implying that, "If only we were not so lazy, we could work harder and tap our unexploited potential."

Using the information contained in module two readings and other materials, discuss why the 10% myth is a myth and not reality.
