Case Study - Diabetes

Create a case study based on an individual who has been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. Diabetes affects hundreds of millions of people worldwide and is the most common serious metabolic disease. One of the principle features of diabetes is the imbalance between the hormone insulin and glucose levels. There are two types of diabetes. You can choose to concentrate your case study on the biochemical processes that occur when the body is not able to produce insulin in Type 1 Diabetes or how the cells are not able to respond to insulin in a Type 2 Diabetic.
