We are not asking for a summary of a theorist's work: you should work out a specific idea about modern societies as developed by a theorist. Your essay must include reference to the relevance at least one of the Key Themes of Modernity outlined in lecture 1 and should also reflect an effort to take into account feedback from the previous written exercise.
This Assessment Task relates to the following Learning Outcomes:

We are not asking for a summary of a theorist?s work: you should work out a specific idea about modern societies as developed by a theorist. Your essay must include reference to the relevance at least one of the Key Themes of Modernity outlined in lecture 1, but this exercise must also include a comparison between two of the theorists in the unit.

We are not asking for a summary of a theorist's work: you should work out a specific idea about modern societies as developed by a theorist. Your essay must include reference to the relevance at least one of the Key Themes of Modernity outlined in lecture 1, but this exercise must also include a comparison between two of the theorists in the unit.
