Computer Organization and Architecture Programming Assignment
Part 1: Develop an assembly language version for the ARM ISA for the following C code.
Part 2: Develop an assembly language version for the ARM ISA for the following C code.
Part 3: The following code sequence represents the same loop as in part one, but utilizing the C++/Java style notion of dealing with arrays by determining the overall size of the array using the size() method. Develop the assembly language version for the ARM ISA for this code.

Assignment Work with following details. Subject: Computer Organization architecture. Submissions through Blackboard only – Copy all source code files (.s) into a single pdf, word, or txt document. Mark the beginning and the end of the different parts clearly. Please do not submit project files. Only one submission attempt - only upload when you are really done! In case of questions, ask early!
Please use as a template the first example from the lab section (i.e. the version which does not include the Startup file provided by Keil) Please add a comment header to each file containing your name, which part the provided source code is implementing (part 1,part 2, or part3), and a brief description of your solution.
EECS 2110- Using the MARS or SPIM simulator develop a program that will implement the following conditional statement. Write a program with a leaf subprogram that will take two values in $a0 and $a1 and compute their greatest common divisor.
Write an ARM assembly function that takes an array of integers and insures that all entries are positive. Remember the initial integer in the array is at index zero.
(Nonrecursive Factorial) Write a nonrecursive version of the Factorial procedure (Section 8.3.2) that uses a loop. (A VideoNote for this exercise is posted on the Web site.) Write a short program that interactively tests your Factorial procedure.
Write codes to implement the expression: A= (B + C * D - E) on 3-, 2-, 1- and 0-address machines. Write a MARIE program to calculate Fib(n)
Given the following array definition, write a constant declaration named ArraySize that automatically calculates the size in bytes, of the array
The largest 24 bits signed hexadecimal number that can be stored in EAX and table with hexadecimal numbers only.
Write a complete well documented assembly language program (starts at $C000) that counts the number of 1s in each byte in a list. The LIST_IN starts at $C100
You need to create a short assembly program named char_int, stored in file char_int.asm, that prompts the user for a character, and then for an integer.
What problems does an assembler have to overcome in order to produce complete binary code with only one pass over the source code? How would code written for a one-pass assembler be different from code written for a two-pass assembler?
Write a program in assembly code for the simulator that will count from 107 to 14 backwards by 3 and display the counter in the output on each iteration of the loop. (Must be in R1, R2, load and add form)
Write the Boolean function as Boolean algebra terms. First, think about how to deal with the two outputs. Then, describe each single row in terms of Boolean algebra.
Write a header comment block at the top of the source code file in the format shown on the next page. Make sure to put both author's names in the header comment block if you worked with a partner.
