INTRODUCTION -

It is the role of a teacher to develop units of work, lesson plans, resources and assessment that allow students to meet the outcomes at the identified achievement standards. Teachers should choose strategies that are research and evidence-based, that are best suited to the outcomes and the students they teach.
High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS) are 10 research and evidence based instructional strategies that have a proven effect on students learning.
THE TASK -
In this assessment, you will propose TWO HIT teaching strategies that could be utilised to teach Yr11/12 outcomes. You will need to justify your choice of strategies using research/data with connection to curriculum and include adjustments that would suit diverse learners.
