Information Design and Content Management Assignment -
A day in my life at UOW
The aim of this assignment is to provide you with hands-on experience to apply the knowledge learned in this subject to problem solving. You are required to follow the workflow for information design to formulate a brief, collect and analyse data, establish your editorial thinking and develop your design solution - the story about your activities in a day.
You are required to present information about your activities in three weekdays and one weekend and analyse the change of your activities over days. Tell the readers the information you would like them to know about your findings.
Files to submit: An excel file that contains two spreadsheets:
Spreadsheet 1: detailed and complete activity data that you recorded.
Spreadsheet 2: data analysis results including calculation results and required charts.
An excel table that includes detailed and complete activity data.
- At least 30 activities recorded per day.
- Each day, the total amount of time recorded is 24 hours.
- Activities are recorded in the sequence of occurrence. The start time of an activity is the end time of its preceding activity.
Data must be recorded following the format defined in the instruction. The category names, codes and activity names must be exactly the same with the activity list defined in the "Data entry form" in the data recording toolkit.
