Instructions:
Research: Research an "innovative instructional strategy or practice in the field of education" (2.2) that is related to trauma. Look for information that will address each of the requirements of the PD workshop below.

PD workshop: Develop and implement a professional development (PD) workshop to demonstrate the instructional strategy and/or practice that you have researched. Within your PD workshop you must address the following:

Outcomes: Identify 1 to 3 outcomes for your workshop. I.e.: what do you want your classmates to learn, or be able to do by the end of the workshop? You may wish to refer to course outlines from this program for ideas regarding the wording of outcomes.

Information: Say how, when and why would you use the strategy or practice. This information should include benefits as well as challenges or caveats (when/why would you not want to use this?)

Trauma: How does the strategy/practice support students who have experienced some form of trauma?

Research: What is the research support for the strategy or practice, and in particular what research supports the use of this strategy or practice for students who have experienced some form of trauma?
