You are the project manager on a development project working on a new line of laptop computers. The project has been broken down into the following modules:

Power supply Processor and motherboard with RAM I/O circuit board CD-ROM drive Floppy drive LCD display Keypad Enclosure and all mechanical parts Final assembly

The total manufacturing cost goal for the project is $500. Develop an initial cost budget for the project that will meet the target manufacturing cost. Use your best estimates of how to divide the amount of the project goal. Does the $500 goal seem reasonable? Would a $250 goal be reasonable?
