Homework: Nursing- Social Justice & Importing Foreign Nurses
A master's prepared educator is teaching an undergraduate course NUR 420 Leadership and Management and has developed an homework in which the undergraduate student writes a Concept Paper. The directions for Concept Paper are in Modules under Homework.
For this homework, the nurse educator student will create a grading rubric. The educator should clarify the important components of the homework and assign each a point value. There is a Concept Paper submitted by Michael Smith also found in Modules/Week 5 (Homework 3 Student Paper).
Task
A. Develop an analytic grading rubric for this homework.
B. Describe the development of the categories for the rubric and the allocation of points in a scholarly paper.
C. Provide feedback and make corrections/comments on the paper itself using the Track Changes and New Comment features in Word located under the Review tab on the toolbar.
D. Assign a grade for the paper using the rubric developed for this homework.
E. Provide an explanation for each area graded.
F. The scholarly paper should be in narrative format, and a maximum of five to six pages excluding the title and reference page.
G. Include an introductory paragraph, purpose statement, and a conclusion.
H. Include level 1 and 2 headings to organize the paper.
I. Write the paper in third person, not first person (meaning do not use ‘we' or ‘I') and in a scholarly manner. To clarify I, we, you, me, our may not be used. In addition, describing yourself as the researcher or the author should not be used.
J. Include a minimum of four professional peer-reviewed scholarly journal references to support the paper (review in Ulrich Periodical Directory) and be less than five years old.
