Specific information about my study site.
The diagram shows our computer lab in Morehouse School District. There are about 25 computers using Windows system. The school services approximately 250 students. The back of each computer contains LAN/Ethernet cables connected to the LAN port. The cables run underneath the tables through a pipe to the side of the wall where all the cables are connected to the switch. The switch is connected to a router using an Ethernet cable. The T1 line connects to a CSU/DSU. The CSU/DSU connects to the router. The router manages traffic between the LAN and the internet or other external networks. This setup ensures that all computers in the lab can communicate with each other and access external networks efficiently.
Weaknesses: computers are outdated and still using wired hardware.
