Assignment:
Develop a multi-medium training session, to include interaction and engagement with participants.
Draw up a lesson plan using PowerPoint slides, and speaker notes (in bullet points). Balance your presentation with interaction time so participants have opportunities to share in a large group, partners, and or breakout sessions.
Ensure your lesson includes at least one multi-media, such as a 1-min You-Tube.
Invite up to 14 participants (excluding GMCM 549 coursemates) a week out to ensure you will have a group of 6-8 participants, during a lunchtime or evening session.
Adapt this Session Evaluation form. Recreate it as an online survey in Google Forms or Survey Monkey. Ask people to fill this out the last 6 minutes of your training.
Write up a final workshop report that a ministry leader could read, to include:
-- a profile of the audience and how they heard about the workshop,
-- the workshop program and learning objectives you taught toward
-- a description of hands-on work that attendees completed,
-- a summary of the attendee's open-ended written feedback, along with descriptive statistics based on the Session Evaluation survey items.
-- a concluding section that shares what you learned from the evaluations and what you will do differently the next time;
-- Appendices: examples:
- invitation email/web brochure
- participant slides
- optional pre-reading (.pdf),
- evaluation form
- evidence of participant work (screenshots from your recording, such as webcams of participants, best group work, or participant worksheets),
- your follow-up thank you email to participants, etc.
