Your role as a Health Psychologist is to" study how patients handle illness, why some people don't follow medical advice and the most effective ways to control pain or change poor health habits. You also develop health care strategies that foster emotional and physical wellbeing. "(You can also incorporate the spiritual aspect as well).

You are being asked to plan a program for a client to help them handle their illness, develop a workable daily/weekly plan to assist them with managing their illness. This plan must include factors relevant to the Biopsychosocial Model.

Based on the beginning Letter of your First name Choose one of the illnesses listed under the system of the body that is listed under the alphabetical letters. make a hypothetical case and make a program for that hypothetical person.

  1. Description of that client. Be specific.
  2. Which of the illness associated with the system that is listed under the first letter in your first name are you going to focus on and why.
  3. Read some resources, journals. Articles, books etc. on that illness.
  4. Based on what you have learned make a weekly or monthly plan to assist them with managing their illness.
