Your plan should include,

Analysis of issues that contribute to the development of surgical site infection (SSIs) in an orthopaedic ward of a hospital you are working in or (assume you are a Nurse working their). Include evidence of patient experience and any literature available on experiences of patient related to SSIs in orthopaedic ward.

Analyse the causes associated with risk and make decisions through clinical reasoning. The decision must be supported by literature and should be described clearly. (You can use Fishbone diagram to support your decision making)

Develop a plan for improvement in SSIs in that specific orthopaedic ward of the hospital you are working in. Use 3 Plan-Do-Act-Study (PDSA cycles)
