Your task is to plan a 5-day menu of healthy meals for one of the scenarios listed below. This assignment is designed to promote healthy eating with limited resources/income. In order to complete this assignment successfully, you must:

Part 1: Based on your chosen scenario, start by determining and discussing the RDA values for the primary macronutrients and micronutrients for the individual. Create a chart in which you outline all of the macro and micronutrient RDAs for your scenario. For all RDAs, refer to Appendix A of your textbook or use the following:

Part 2: Using MyFitness Pal, prepare a 5-day menu consisting of 3 meals, 2 snacks, and beverages per day, being sure to stick as closely to the budgets listed in the scenario as possible. While leftovers can be used, it is expected that most days will be relatively new in terms of meals. You will submit this final 5-day report with your project. Scenario #1: Nancy Whitaker is a 67-year-old female. She is 5'5 and 143 Ibs, and her activity level is low-active. She retired from her job one year ago after many years. She receives her monthly pension of $670 a month, plus her Social Security check of $840, for a total monthly income of $1510.00. After rent, electric/water/phone bills, and medical payments, Nancy has $55 weekly for breakfast, lunch, and dinner groceries. What can Nancy purchase at the grocery store to feed her breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks under her daily budget?
Scenario #2: Jerry Smith is a single 53-year-old male who lives in a boarding house. He receives General Assistance, which pays his rent, and receives $200 in food stamps. Jerry is 6'1 and 176 Ibs, and his activity level is active. This leaves him approximately $50 weekly to spend on meals for himself. What can Jerry purchase at the grocery store to feed him breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks under his daily budget?
Scenario #3: Bill Blevin is a 34-year-old male disabled veteran who receives a military pension. Bill is 5'9 and 192 Ibs, and his activity level is sedentary. Due to his disability, Bill cannot drive and lives in an area that is not easily accessible to the larger grocery stores. After his monthly expenses, Bill is left with $260 a month or $65 weekly to purchase food for himself. What can Bill purchase at the grocery store to feed him breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks under his daily budget?
Scenario #4: Sofia Hernandez is a 21-year-old female student who works part-time and attends school full-time. Sofia is 5'6" and 138 Ibs, and her activity level is active. She lives in a boarding house and prepares her own meals separately from her roommates. She primarily uses a small refrigerator and a microwave oven to prepare her meals. She does have access to a community stove. Her budget for food is about $220 a month or $55 weekly, depending on her expenses. What can Sofia purchase at the grocery store to feed her breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks under his daily budget?
