Let's say I am in a bumper car and have a velocity of 8 m/s, driving east. I and my car have a mass of 70 kilogram. You are in a bumper car, sitting still. I run into you, and we collide elastically. If I end up with a velocity of 1 meter per second going west, am I heaver or lighter than you? Determine your mass and final velocity?
