If a hot air balloon floats at a constant elevation (it has reached equilibrium) where the local atmospheric pressure is 98 kPa (abs) and outside air temperature is 285 K, and the hot air inside the balloon is at 400 K (and also at the local atmospheric pressure since the balloon is open at the bottom), determine what volume the balloon must occupy if the basket, passengers and balloon material together weigh 5500 N? (Hint- the hot air inside the balloon also has weight)
