A standing wave on a tight string experiment is set up in thelaboratory. One end of the string is attached to an oscillatorthat vibrates with a frequency of 60 Hz. The other end of thestring passes over a pulley and is attached to a mass. Thedistance between the oscillator and the pulley is 1.2 m. Whenthe oscillator is turned on, six loops are observed on thestring. The linear mass density of the string is 1.4 g/m.

a. What is the wavelength of the standing wave?

b. What is the wave speed of the standingwave?

c. How much mass is hanging on thestring?
