The current in a simple single resistor (of resistance R1) circuit is I1 = 6.4 Amp. A second resistor, R2 = 61 ohm, is added to the first in parallel and the current through the battery increases to I2 = 9.9 Amp.

Part (a) Input an expression for the resistance of R1.
