Steam is leaving a pressure cooker whose operating pressure is 30 psia. It is observed that the amount of liquid in the cooker has decreased by 0.45 gal in 60 minutes after the steady operating conditions are established, and the cross-sectional area of the exit opening is 0.15 in^2. The mass flow rate is 9.8292 E-4, and the exit velocity is 12.974 ft/s.

Determine the total (a) and flow (b) energies of the steam per unit mass in Btu/lbm.
