PSpice Use the values of C and L determined in Problem 30 to input the circuit of Figure 21-70. Repeat the measurements of
Problem 35.
Problem 35
PSpice Use the values of C and L determined in Problem 29 to input the circuit of Figure 21-69. Use the Probe postprocessor to display the response of the capacitor voltage as a function of frequency. From the display, determine the maximum rms voltage, the resonant frequency, the half-power frequencies, and the bandwidth. Use the results to determine the quality factor of the circuit.
Problem 29
Refer to the circuit of Figure 21-69.
a. Determine the value of XL for resonance.
b. Solve for the Q of the circuit.
c. If the circuit has a resonant frequency of 2000 rad/s, what is the bandwidth of the circuit?
d. What must be the values of C and L for the circuit to be resonant at 2000 rad/s?
e. Calculate the voltage VC at resonance.
For any lossless reciprocal three-port network, one port (say port 3) can be terminated in a reactance so that the other two ports (say ports 1 and 2) are decoupled (no power flow from port 1 to port 2, or from port 2 to port 1).
Imagine you have been hired to develop an advertising campaign for a new fictional brand. Selecting a product category with which you are comfortable, identify a niche that is not being served by an existing brand. Next, develop a brand and pr..
Common drain amplifier config. uses NMOS device with a nominal load of 2kΩ. If gain of amplifier is 0.90 V/V, what is output resistance. If device has k'n W/L=8mA / V2, what is the bias drain current So need to find Ro and ID.
Gaussian white noise, perfectly band-limited to 0-10MHz, is passed through a perfectly rectangular filter of bandwidth 18 kHz, gain 3 dB, and center frequency 455 kHz. If the RMS voltage of the input noise is 1 volt
Use electric circuit analysis techniques and Laplace methods to find the charge, q(t), on the capacitor as a function of time. The switch is closed at t = 0 and the initial voltage V0 on the capacitor is 5 Volts.
The sampling frequency in a DSP system is fs = 8khz kHz. A hold circuit is used after the DAC device. What is the percentage of distortion level at the frequency f= 3.4 kHz
1. Find the Fourier transform of the signal by hand, using either the de nition of the Fourier transform or properties of the Fourier transform. 2. Use the Symbolic Math Toolbox to nd the Fourier transform and show that the same result is obtained.
Suppose that a family of logic gates considers the input ranges of [0 - 0.2V] as "0" and [3.1V-3.5V] as "1". 1. What are the reasonable output ranges for "0" and "1" (a) "0": [0.0 - 0.1V], "1": [3.2V - 3.5V];
A wire is shown in Figure which is carrying 2.0 A in the presence of a magnetic field. Calculate the magnitude and direction of the force induced on the wire.
Each single phase transformer has an identical number of turns in the primary and secondary windings. If a line-to-line voltage of 480V is applied on the wye windings, compute the line-to-line voltage on the delta windings.
Or is the transmitted part perpendicular to these strands? Where does the energy associated with the absorption go?
A 10kW 220-V single-phase motor is operating at 0.7 lagging power factor. Find the value of the capacitor that needs to be connected in parallel with the motor , if the power factor is to be improved to 0.95 lagging.
