Problem: A subway train starts from rest at a station and accelerates at a rate of 1.55 m/s2 for 11.0 s. It runs at constant speed for 77.0 s and slows down at a rate of 3.20 m/s2 until it stops at the next station.

Part I: Find the total distance covered.

I've been having quite a bit of trouble understanding this problem, Thank you so much for your help. Thanks.
