A metal rod 6.00 m long is held in a horizontal position. An object with mass 3.50 kg is suspended from a light rope that is attached 4.00 m from the left-hand end of the rod, as shown in the figure below. Take counterclockwise torques to be positive. For an axis at the right-hand end of the rod, what is the torque exerted on the rod by the tension in the rope?
