Figure 10.38 shows a test setup for determining the energy loss due to a heat exchanger. Water at 50°C is flowing vertically upward at 6.0 X 10-3 m3 /s. Calculate the energy loss between points 1 and 2. Determine the resistance coefficient for the heat exchanger based on the velocity in the inlet tube.
