Krohn's laboratory at Arkansas Tech University, air enters the compressor of an ideal Brayton cycle at p1= 14.5 psi, T1= 70.0°F with a volumetric flow rate of 20.0 × 103 ft3 /min. The compressor pressure ratio is 12.0 and the turbine inlet temperature is 2500.°F. Using the hot air standard cycle analysis, determine the:

a. Net work output of the cycle in Btu/hr and MW.

b. Hot ASC thermal efficiency of the cycle.
