A fan drawing electricity at a rate of 1.5 kW is located in a room measuring 10 ft times 13 ft times 16 ft. The air in the room is initially at 75 degree F and 14.7 psia. The room is well insulated and sealed to prevent air from leaking in or out. Ignoring the volume occupied by the fan and assuming that the fan's internal energy does not change, determine: The mass of air in the room, in Ibm, The air temperature, in degree F, and pressure, in psia. after the fan has operated steadily for 30 minutes.
