Water is the working fluid in an ideal Rankine cycle. The steam enters the turbine at 15 MPa and enters the condenser at 10 kPa with a quality of 90 %. The mass flow rate of the water in the system is 120 kg/s.

Determine:

a) the temperature entering the turbine
b) the rate of heat transferred to the steam in the boiler (kW)
c) the net power developed (kW)
d) the thermal efficiency
e) the mass flow rate of condenser cooling water, if the cooling water undergoes a temperature increase of 18oC with negligible pressure change in passing through the condenser.
