A 440-V three-hase Y-connected synchronous motor has a synchronous reactance of 1.5 ohms per phase. The field current has been adjusted so that the torque angle is 28 degrees when the supplied power to the motor is 90kW. Determine:

a.) The magnitude of the internal generated oltage |Ea| in this machine.

b.) The magnitude and angle of the armature current in the machine.

c.) The motor's power factor.

d.) The absolute maximum power this motor could supply if the field current remains constant.

e.) The magnitude of the armature current and motor's new power factor if field current is decreased by 10%.
