a.) Determine the flux of particles escaping from the exobase of Earth's atmosphere using a number density at the exobase of 10^5 particles/cm^3 and a temperature of 700K.

b.) Using your result in part a, determine the loss rate of particles from Jean's escape in particles per second.

c.) Estimate the total number of particles in Earth's troposphere. Assume the number density at the surface is 10^20 particles/cm^3. (hint: only a rough, order of magnitude approximation is needed)

d) At the loss rate determined in b, how long would it take to lose a number of particles equal to that in the tropophere computed in part c?
