The heat rejection from this refrigerator serves as the heat input to the second refrigerator which delivers 1000 kJ/cycle of heat output to a reservoir at 1000 K. The two refrigerators have the same coefficients of performance. (a) Determine the heat exchange between the first to the second cycle (kJ/cycle) that occurs at the intermediate temperature.
