A water turbine is required to operate at 420 rpm under a net head of 3 m, a discharge of 0.312 m3 /s, and with an efficiency of 0.9. Tests on a 1/6-scale model running at 2000 rpm are to be carried out using water. For the model turbine, determine the head drop, flow rate, output power, and expected efficiency.
