A steel cylindrical hollow tube, with outside diameter of 16cm and a thickness of 20mm is used as a beam over a span of 6m, being simply supported at its ends. The maximum bending stress of the tube is 125MPa. Neglecting the mass of the mass of the tube, determine the greatest point load that can be applied at the centre of the span.
