Doppler ultrasound can be used to measure blood flow rate. The blood flow rate is determined by measuring the Doppler shift in the frequency of the ultrasound signal reflected by moving red blood cells. If the speed of red blood cells that receive the signal is 0.10m/s, the ultrasound source frequency is 5.00MHz, and the speed of sound in blood is 1570m/s. (Assume red blood cells move directly toward the ultrasound source and use the speed of sound in blood in place of the speed of sound in air.)
