Show transcribed image text Four signals m1(t). m2(t). m3(t). and m4(t) are bandlimited to 3.6 kHz. 1.2 kHz. 1.2 kHz, and 1.2 kHz, respectively. These signals are to be transmitted using TDM.
a) Design a multiplexer that will accommodate all four signals assuming each is quantized to 1024 levels.
b) Determine the frame length of the multiplexer output.
c) Determine the required bandwidth of the transmission channel.
Write a declaration for a two-dimensional array named temperature reads. (For simplicity, assume that a month has 30 days.) The rows of the array should represent days of the month; the columns should represent hours of the day.
Describe how you would use the voltage follower so the output load voltage (as measured with a scope probe) agrees with the value shown on the function generator front panel independent of load impedance. Describe any compromises or inefficiencies..
A 5.6 mF capacitor has initial voltage of 18 V.The energy stored in the capacitor is used to light up a 0.1 kOhm lamp. How much will be the lamp's power 6.7 sec after the switch has been turned on
Signal Analysis and Processing, Produce a diagram of the composite signal and produce diagrams of each individual component of the signal.
The (uniform) area density of defects for a CMOS fabrication process is 0.1 cm-2. Estimate the yield for integrated circuits with the following dimension: 4mm x 4mm, 6mm x 8mm, and 9mm x 12mm.
Describe the operation of this circuit.
An op-amp has a single-pole, open loop response with the dc open loop gain of A0=20,000 and the pole frequency at fp=40 Hz. A. If this amplifier is connected as a non-inverting amplifier configuration with the closed loop gain
A N-turn resonant circular loop with a uniform current distribution and with a circumference of f/4 , is fed by a lossless balanced twin-lead transmission line with a characteristic impedance of 300 ohms. Neglecting proximity effects
Given the following circuit, in which R1 = 200 (Ohm), R2 = 100(Ohm), V1 = 6 V, and V2 = 3 V. Assume the diode turn-on voltage is 0.7 V. Find the current through the circuit. Find the voltage V1 for which the diode just starts to conduct.
Determine the hysteresis loss if the apparatus isconnected to a 60 Hz source whose voltage is such as to cause theflux density to be 62 percent of it's rated value. Assume that theSteinmetz exponent is 1.4.

First draw the transmit con-stellation and the receive constellation with ideal phase tracking and sampling. Note:they are obviously the same constellations. Now, assume that receiver synchronization is off by a phase angle.
