Determine the forces in members DE, DJ, and IJ using the method of sections. I have 5 upper horizontal members; AB, BC, CD, DE, and EF all 3ft apart. A total of 15ft. A pin is at member EF at F. FK is the vertical member connected to a roller at K. Member FK is 4ft. There a vertical 750 lb force at joint A, B, and joint C. There are 5 angled members, each one with increasing length. Which is AG, BH, CI, DJ, and EK. Each 3ft apart. Which are joints G, H, I, J, and K. The first angled member, AG, has a vertical member of 2ft which is formed at the first vertical member BG. At the lower end, joints G, H, I, J, and K forms a continuous angled line towards K, which is connected to the roller. I need to fine Member DE, DJ, and IJ, using the method of sections.
