Consider a parallel-plate capacitor of 220 uF capacitance connected to a 1500 volt power source. The distance between the plates is .01 m. There is a hole in one of the plates such that an electron between the plates can escape from the space between the plates, thus exiting the hole. How fast will the electron be traveling as it exits the hole? What is the E-field inside the capacitor? What is the charge in the capacitor?
