A car accelerates uniformly from rest for 20 seconds with anacceleration of 1.5m/s2. It then travels at a constantspeed for 2 minutes before slowing with a uniform deceleration tocome to rest in a further 10 seconds. Sketch a velocity-time grahof this motion (not to scale) and find:

(a) the maximum speed

(b) the total distance travelled

(c) the acceleration while slowing down.
