LITERATURE REVIEW
A literature review and how to conduct it is important part of your learnings in the course.
Literature review could be a theoretical background for subsequent research or a stand-alone review that answer a question based on existing literature. The latter is commonly known as a systematic Literature Review SLR. While other assignments require you to include a theoretical background, this particular assignment is focused on the SLR.
There have been many studies advised on how to conduct SLR in different disciplines.
Assignment 4 for this semester is focused on the literature review. The first thing you should do is to craft a research question for which you will conduct a systematic literature review SLR.
In this semester course, all has to write about
Enterprise systems adaptability and its role to determine sustainability and resilience development in the organization.
• First, you should decide on the databases that will search for the relevant literature, then the search strings which would lead to the literature to be included in the review.
• The literature should cite studies in the last 15 years with focus on the recent studies from the current and the past year.
• While you should use a suitable style for your references to appear in and at the end of the text, At least 20 unique references should be cited (i.e. no less than 20 article to be reviewed).
You will be graded as per below (all these should be included in your SLR
1. Student Clearly identifies and summarizes the primary issue. Identifies secondary or implicit issues. Appropriately addresses key discipline, specific concepts and issues.
2. Student develops a clear and concise plan and utilizes a cross-functional approach to solving the problem that is optimal to all aspects of the organization.
3. Student provides plausible and integrated solution(s). Identifies and discuss conclusions, implications, and consequences based on the results. The solution clarifies the issues and facilitates decision-making.
